Paradise Free Arts

Challenge

To create a partnership with a local non-profit organization that mirrors Paradise Bakery’s culture.

Idea

In 2008, Barclay partnered Paradise Bakery and Free Arts of Arizona, a non-profit organization which helps spark the creative spirit of abused, homeless and at-risk children.

In addition to a “Cookie for A Kid” campaign, an ongoing program that displayed the children’s artwork in every Paradise Bakery location was planned by the agency. The artwork display included the logos of both Paradise Bakery and Free Arts of Arizona.

Barclay further branded the partnership through a custom designed water bottle label which represented this public-private partnership. A percentage of all water bottle sales continue to benefit Free Arts of Arizona.

Impact

Paradise Bakery raised $143,000 to help assist/heal these children through their ongoing arts programs, while establishing the restaurant company as a socially responsible organization.
